Blending the most successful elements of past events, the new style Bradford Festival brought a vibrant, colouful and multicultural programme of the very best international, British and local theatre, art, music and dance right into the heart of the city.
Sunday was Mela Day, a colourful and energetic, multi-cultural programme of music, dance and street theatre.
Crowds were delighted with the top international and UK acts in the Mirror Pool’s Pavilion Stage and saw local people perform in some brilliant creative collaborations.
Set in the green surroundings of Norfolk Gardens, the Garden Stage had some of the best Bradford music and theatre with entertainment and amusements for young children. Visitors delved into great exhibitions and food stalls, and took part in some workshops and participation events.
